Grey Wolf!
Don’t let anyone tell you that mushroom is not a colour to have in your wardrobe. It is classic, safe and distinguished. If you have grey hair, this is the palette of the season. It’s moody yet stable, it’s familiar but surprising and it’s a statement. In fabrics, they are seen as flat matt, shiny satin or woven wool. A set of sombre greys are emerging as the key colour in Milan right now, and offset with black and richer winter darks. Wearing grey, for example a grey marl cardigan, gun metal grey Nudie jeans or a grey suit are endlessly commercial and full of nuances that can cross between urban, rustic even military looks. Simple! Who said the future is looking grey?
