Hackett London is most definitely one of MenStylePower’s favourite brands.
From its LC:M debut in the Royal Opera House’s Floral Hall, to a gravely impressive show in the crypt of St Paul’s, to last season’s well-orchestrated outing at the Old Billingsgate Fish Market, Hackett has, in many ways led the charge by showing that London can compete every bit as aggressively for its “fashion moment” as any rival in Paris, Milan or New York.
Hackett London has been consistent in showcasing exceptional, artistic and well-researched menswear. Appealing to the ‘old soul’ in all of us, the dapper collections talk to our nostalgic senses, and also give us the confidence of buying into a brand that operates under integrity and maturity.
As per the preceding season’s affectionate play on city types and quasi-military heritage, last season’s show was a gallantly inclusive vision of British men’s style, with boaters and blazers, pastels and plaids, all with a gentle dusting of that ineffable Euro-chic that’s come to define the “new” Hackett.
