Menswear at the #BAFTA Film Awards

One of the most important transactions for a designer is to see his/her creations translate into the every day Gentleman’s world.

This is effectively done by enticing celebrities and stars into an Ambassadorship with the Designer. Here at the BAFTA film awards, it is, in its own way, a Global Runway for Designers and a very integral part of a sales and marketing push for them.

We love staring at the designs, as they are aspirational. Every Gents wants to aspire to higher heights in style, finance, partnership and achievement. Seeing these designs creates a sense of hope, yep I said that – where if you have a dream, and you work hard enough to fulfill it – you might like to see yourself in these threads. If it doesn’t bother you so much, then…ahem, why you readin’ this blog?

We particularly like Valentino (apart from their appalling PR disaster last week), Saint Laurent, Burberry, Prada, Louis Vuitton, McQueen, Dior Homme, Givenchy, Zegna and Lanvin for Tuxedo suiting on the red carpet. What say you?
