Louise Edmonds is a blogger, stylist, content producer and fashion writer.
She started her career studying Journalism, Photography and Film & Television, specialising in television presenting, before relocating to Sydney 18 years ago to produce for the Rock Eisteddfod on Network Ten, present on Good Morning Australia and produce/present on various television commercials.
In early 2009, Louise after a long career in the entertainment and retail worlds decided to commence a blog named MenStylePower as a tool to encourage men to be their holistic selves in a much saturated female fashion market. As blogging hadn’t been heard of in Australia at that time, her major audiences were from the USA and UK.
At that time, MenStylePower.com was invited to be part of New York Fashion Week – blogging for US fashion giant Nautica and profiled by Barney’s New York. Louise was commissioned to write for CEO Magazine reaching a massive 250,000 gentlemen monthly and the highly respected FashionBeans.com, which attracts more than 4.5million page views a month.
Louise has over 18 years experience in the entertainment and media world working with brands and companies such as Network Ten, Regional Seven, OmniLab Media, EMI Music, Sony BMG, Ideaworks Advertising, The General Pants Group and Collette Dinnigan. Her love of retail and styling evolved from her experience with B2B retail advertising agencies and UK retail trend forecasting group, echochamber.com.
This in turn placed her on the styling path with founding her website MenStylePower.com which for over nine years has been providing content for FashionBeans UK, Brands Exclusive, Sydney Morning Herald’s Executive Style, AskMen and CEO Magazine and is a video content creator for Marie Clare, InStyle Magazine and Swarovski.
Louise is also currently the series producer on a television program named Sex, Love and Relationships which is broadcast to over 30million households via Foxtel, TBN (USA) and Sky (UK).
